Extremely Rare Authentic Mark Johnson Signed 1980 Winter Olympics Original Team issued NORCON 1980 USA Hockey Jersey.

In the pictures you will see head athletic trainer for the 1980 USA hockey Team Gary Smith after a long discussion about the Jersey, holding the Jersey just before it was signed by Mark Johnson in Lake Placid New York during the 10th year anniversary of the Miracle on Ice fantasy camp May 3rd to May 7th 2026. Johnson stated to me personally that he only wore his blue gold medal Jersey in games along with his white Miracle on Ice Jersey throughout the tournament. Most likely this was worn during practice sessions and why it doesn't have the name plate. There is no official Olympic record of equipment used by the players and information relies solely on the players, coaches and original manufacturers of the equipment for the 1980 Winter Olympics Games although coach herb Brooks specifically demanded that Norcon make the Olympic jerseys for the 1980 Winter Olympic Games because of his relationship with Bill O'Connor owner of the company. These jerseys were only made for the 1980 USA hockey team and were not produced for the general population.
