Vintage USA Hockey Jacket — Seller-Attributed 1980 CCM, Untagged

1980 USA Olympic hockey team and National Team issued jacket

Made by CCM for the 1980 USA hockey Olympic and national hockey team. This jacket was worn by members of the Miracle on Ice Hockey team including players, coaches, trainers, doctors, US Olympic Committee members and equipment managers for the 1980 USA hockey team.

These are extremely Rare!

The 1980 hockey team was issued numerous apparel to be used during the 1980 Winter Olympics. CCM was one of the main suppliers for hockey equipment such as jackets, hockey pants, helmets, gloves and hockey bags among other things.

Levi's was the official apparel for the entire 1980 US Olympic team and only CCM and Norcon were the official suppliers to the 1980 USA hockey team.

There is no tag left inside the jacket although you can tell it was a large tag the size that CCM would use during that time as Levi's and norcon used a much smaller tag then the ones that were used in the CCM issue jackets

I believe this is a size large

Measurements are: 25 inches Top to Bottom and pit to pit is 24 inches.

As with the Levi velor suits the 1980 USA hockey team wore on the podium, those jackets and these ones were made to sit on the waist which most of the hockey players complained and said they looked Goofy. The players also stated the uniforms we're either too big or too small and did a lot of trading among each other to get a better fit.
