Vintage Lake Placid Police Department USA Hockey CCM Jersey — No. 14

Rare vintage 1980s USA Hockey Lake Placid Police Department CCM hockey jersey #14 this is the same number worn by Ralph Cox (not his game worn jersey) he is the last man cut from the 1980 USA hockey team while Herb Brooks was making the final 20 man roster for the 1980 Winter Olympic Games.

This jersey is over 40 years old it's from the 1980s and has the red gold and blue color scheme representing the Lake Placid Police Department as those were the LPPD colors back in the '80s.

The Lake Placid Police Department along with New York state troopers played a big role in the 1980 Winter Olympic Games keeping the public safe and escorting the 1980 USA hockey team after their Miracle on Ice and gold medal victory with their rise to fame during the 1980 Winter Olympics. as you can imagine everybody wanted to be near them as they were the pride of the nation and still represent America proudly to this day.

This vintage Jersey from Lake Placid does have a sewing repair, hockey puck marks, discoloration and some pillowing but overall it is a Very Cool Jersey

The PBA is the police Benevolent Association as they played a big role in sponsorship for the USA Hockey program

There is no size tag although it does have the CCM logo on the bottom back side

Measurements are: 27 inches Top to bottom and 20-1/2 inches arm pit to arm pit
