Rare Eric Heiden signed New York State Olympic lottery ticket featuring The Hand signed autograph of this Olympic speed skating Legend
Heiden competed in all five speed skating events at the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid New York. He would go on to win all five events taking home five gold medals in a single Olympics. Among his feets, he broke a world record in the 10,000 m and cemented himself as the greatest speed skater of all time.
These tickets were produced starting in 1978 to raise funds to help with the construction of the sporting events including the herb Brooks Arena and the Olympic speed skating oval among other venues. These tickets had a grand prize of $2 million dollars among other payouts
